- The village is home to the county grounds of the Wicklow county Gaelic Athletic Association team.

- Lawless Hotel, dating back to 1787, served as a popular venue and coach stop and was regarded as one of the Garden County’s best-loved hotels, before closing during the pandemic, falling into disrepair, and never reopening.
The good news is that it has new owners who intend to reopen it as a hotel, bar and restaurant.
