Brittas Bay Beach in Wicklow is one of the most popular beaches in the county.

It is a Blue Flag beach and has about 5km of smooth sands with the Irish Sea on one side and sand dunes on the other. During the Summer months crowds flock to the beach to enjoy bathing, swimming, sailing or walking.

In the early morning or late evening you may see horse riders taking advantage of the peaceful setting and level sands for galloping. There are Lifeguards on hand during the Summer Season.
